Teacher Testimonial

Length: 60 seconds  |  Play/Download MP4 (right-click link and choose "Save Target As" to save video to your computer)

Teacher Testimonial Script:

DCMP is an invaluable tool in my classroom. Most people think of history as a boring subject, but I think of it as something living, and moving, and continuous, and using captioned media helps me convey that to my kids. A lot of times we’re studying the Civil War, World War I , and World War II, and they can’t relate to that. But once you give them that visual picture—that visual effect—then they get it, and it’s just invaluable.

If you are a teacher or a family member of a student who is blind, deaf, or deaf-blind, call the DCMP today at 1-800-237-6213 or visit our Web site at www.dcmp.org.

Equal Access in the Classroom

DCMP has launched a brand new training tool called Equal Access in the Classroom that is available from the Equal Access section of DCMP.org. There, you can watch (and download) the entire Equal Access in the Classroom production and see clips demonstrating description and captioning.
